What a great day – the third qualifier was a good one with 2 blokes competing in their first open competition, Rob Hughes and Mick Morritt who both train at Ministry of Muscle. We also had greats like Bill Pittuck and Adam Townsend competing. Paul Carter was back to try again after nearly qualifying in the second heat. Alex Hunter was the 6th athlete. Adam Townsend won the show by winning 3 events and Paul Carter managed to make amends on last time and qualify for the Final. The man of the match award went to Rob Hughes, who learnt a lot from his first open show. A great performance from Mick Morritt, who didn't know until the last minute he was doing the show!

  • Loading Event: 2 x water fittings 75kg 10m, 110kg block of rubber 7m,
       
    130kg stone 5m and 180kg valve onto 5ft 1in platform
  • Frame Hold 260kg
  • 350kg Super Yoke - 25m
  • Tyre Flip 5 x 350kg, 3 x 470kg + 1 x 600kg
  • Atlas Stones 110kg, 120kg, 130kg, 140kg, 150kg onto 5ft 1in platform
