Charity Strongman Event

 

 

We held a first timers strongman competition at the Gym on Sunday 15 July 2007.  All the guys who took part were strongman virgins, and some dressed up as characters from Little Britain.  An appearance was made by Lou and Andy, Emily Howard, Anne, Vicky Pollard and Daffyd.

 

Events for the day were:

Super Yoke 180 kg

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone for coming along to take part, help out, and support the event, which was held to raise money for Demelza House, the only children’s residential hospice in Kent.  We had an impressive turnout and it really was a brilliant day in aid of a very worthy cause.
