Jay Hughes and Mick Holding have just returned from the final heats of Britain's Strongest Man 2007. They both went to Minehead in Somerset after qualifying earlier on in the year. Mick was doing extremely well in his heat until a leg injury thwarted his efforts. He came third in his heat but remained in Minehead for the Final as first reserve. Jay came second in his heat and got through to the Final held on 1st / 2nd July. Here he did extremely well for a first effort and came 7th overall.
